Raised in Milan. He graduated in ITSOS Albe Steiner, where he studied photography and cinema. The photography in the film became his passion. He started working on the sets as video assist. Then he specialized as 2nd Camera Assistant, 1st Camera Assistant, Camera Operator, Steadicam Operator and Cinematographer.
Always he collaborate with his brother Davide Artusi, with whom he shared countless hours shooting, filming documentaries, feature films, short films, music videos and commercials.
In U.S.A. he followed for three thousand miles Valerio Zamboni, to make a documentary about his venture to the RAAM. In New Zealand, he made, as film maker, almost thirty video following the italian rugby team during the Rugby World Cup 2011. In South Africa, with Antonella Spatti, he filmed a corporate Enel Green Power, which he cared the photography.
Camera operator on the independent movie ”On the bride’s side” by Antonio Augugliaro, Khaled Soliman Al Nassiry and Gabriele Del Grande. He then worked with MLAL, known Italian ONG, as cinematographer.
1st Camera Assistant on the movie ”Teatro alla Scala – Il tempio delle meraviglie’’ directed by Luca Lucini. 1st Camera Assistant, on the movie “Leonardo Da Vinci – Il genio a Milano” by Nico Malaspina & Luca Lucini. Steadicam operator, shooting in 35mm on the movie with the working title ”Landing Lake” by Cesare P. Libardi. 1st Camera Assistant / Loader, shooting in 16mm for the teaser of the documentary about Benedetta Barzini by Beniamino Barrese are some of the latest works.

I like to know or at least understand what i’m framing, so I can give a subjective point of view to the image.
